This Privacy Policy describes how Tessera Defense and Homeland Security Inc., a Delaware corporation, together with its subsidiaries (“Tessera,” “we,” “us” and “our”), collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit this website or any other website or service we control where this Privacy Policy is posted (the “Site”). Tessera is the controller of the personal information described here.

Please read this Privacy Policy before using the Site. If you do not agree with it, you should not use the Site. If you provide personal information about another person, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.

Information we collect

What we collect depends on how you use the Site.

•       Information you give us. Your name, email address, telephone number, employer, job title and anything else you choose to include when you complete a contact form, subscribe to investor updates or media alerts, or write to us.
•       Information you give us when you apply for a job. Your CV or resume, employment and education history, and any other information you submit through our careers page or by email. We use it to assess your application and, if you consent, to consider you for other roles.
•       Information collected automatically. Your IP address, browser type and settings, operating system, device identifiers, referring pages, the pages you visit and how long you spend on them, and error logs. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies and through our server logs.
•       Information from third parties. Analytics providers, hosting and security providers, and social media platforms where you interact with our content.

We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data through the Site, and you should not send them to us.

How we use it

We use personal information to respond to your enquiry, to send investor and media communications you have asked for, to consider job applications, to operate, secure and improve the Site, to understand how the Site is used, and to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, including our obligations as a company listed on the NYSE American and registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Legal bases

Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies to you, we process personal information on one or more of the following bases: your consent, which you may withdraw at any time; the performance of a contract with you or steps taken at your request before entering one; compliance with a legal obligation; and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Site, communicating with investors and the media, and recruiting, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.

Where Israeli law applies, we process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 and the regulations made under it.

Sharing

We share personal information with service providers who act on our instructions, including hosting, email, analytics, security and administrative providers; with our professional advisers, including lawyers, auditors and bankers; with our subsidiaries; and with regulators, courts and other authorities where we are required to do so or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, and it will remain subject to this Privacy Policy or to a policy that protects it to at least the same standard.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for cross-context behavioural advertising.

We are incorporated in the United States and our operations are conducted principally in Israel, and our service providers may be located elsewhere. •       Strictly necessary cookies, which are required for the Site to function and to keep it secure. These are set without your consent because the Site cannot work without them.
•   Analytics cookies, which help us understand how the Site is used. These are set only after you consent, and you may withdraw consent at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer of every page.

The following third parties may set cookies or receive information about your use of the Site: Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.

We do not use session recording or replay technology, and we do not use advertising or social media pixels for behavioural advertising.

We do not respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals, as no common standard has been adopted for them.

Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described above, and then for any period required by law or necessary to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Job application materials are retained for a reasonable period after the recruitment process ends unless you ask us to delete them earlier.

Security

We take reasonable technical, physical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be secure, and you send information to us at your own risk. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you where required by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we process it, to receive it in a portable format, to withdraw consent, and not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing. Residents of Israel have rights of access and correction under the Protection of Privacy Law. Residents of California and certain other U.S. states have rights of access, deletion, correction and opt-out, and a right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.

Children

The Site is not directed to persons under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the updated version here and change the date at the top. If the changes are material we will bring them to your attention.
